It can also have a drastic impact on my future career. If war breaks out in the Taiwan strait this means companies needing to find other resources and manufactures for their products. What do my readers already know? What are my readers feelings toward the topic? My readers would have either a understanding of how Supply Chain Management in the global market works and the impact of a war in the Taiwan Strait or an understanding of the military and the current training we are undergoing to fight in a war with China. The readers feelings toward the topic can will depend on their political views and current job. One that is in the military will have a different opinion then some on that is currently working in the private sector. What do my readers need to know to understand my point? They will need to know the current state of our military and the steps we are taking to fight a war in the Taiwan Strait. They will also need to know the amount of product that flows through the Taiwan Strait. This will provide the importance of this situation. What information do I need to research and add to my paper? I will need to research the goods that flow through the Taiwan Strait on a yearly basis and the time it would add to a company that would have to avoid the Taiwan Strait in order to still operate. I will need to research more information on the military training, actions and purchases that are currently happening in order to compete with China. I will also need to research what our current government officials are doing in this situation.
