 For Part A this Writing Reflection, I want you to consider who you are relative to the land, people and history that we have been learning about.  Using the definitions from our Week 1 readings, especially the Vowel and Krawec texts, who are you relative to the First People on Turtle Island? (1-2 sentences)
If you live in Canada, what do you know about the land that you live on? Who owns that land? How did they come to own it? What treaties cover it? (If you don't live in Canada, please answer this question using the land that Seneca College is on.) As usual, I am looking for you to apply class sources to answer this question, not for random Google searches. You need to cite. (4-8 sentences)

 For this section, I want you to think about what you learned in Class 7 and Class 8 about The Indian Act and Residential Schools. 
 I invite you take three photographs. (Don't worry; I'm not grading your photography skills.) Each photograph should represent something specific that you learned about The Indian Act or Residential Schools and/or your response to the thing that you learned. For example, if I were to do this exercise about the fur trade, I might take a picture of the bison in the High Park zoo to show my grief for the millions of bison that went extinct. Please write 1-3 sentences about each of your photographs, stating specifically what your photograph means to you and what you are responding to.
