Your literary analysis assignment will require that you understand the following terms and be able to answer the following questions. All of these terms have been assigned to you in the textbook readings/Modules 1-3. The definitions in the textbook and in the notes are the only acceptable definitions for the purposes of this class and our assignments. What is the difference between first-person, first-person plural, second-person and third-person narration? What is the Point of view from which each story is narrated? Who are the protagonists in each story? What are static characters? What are dynamic characters? What are flat characters? What are dynamic characters? What is characterization? What is magical realism? Who are the antagonists in each story? What is the main conflict in each story? What is Freytag's Pyramid? Name and define each of its components. Now the proposal: 1.
