The purpose of this assessment is to make preliminary plans for a research study and communicate these ideas to thepeers in abstract format. As a research consumer, this assessment will assist to develop skills in interpreting, explaining and critiquing aspects of a Health professional education research study, along with practice creating a clear and concise summary. As a research producer, this assessment will also allow you to develop skills in generating a research question and designing an appropriate research study. It is recommended that you complete the following steps to prepare; select the research design(s) and design the data collection / analysis plans. Prepare the research abstract. Background section should explain the rationale for the research study with reference to the literature.
